The K-6 school years are vitally important to build strong academic, social, physical and emotional foundations. In the Owen J. Roberts School District, the goal of the elementary curriculum is to provide students with this foundation through a well-rounded educational program, using high quality instructional materials and strategies. Subject area curriculum is revised in a regular cycle and updated yearly. Each grade level curriculum is aligned to Pennsylvania Standards and incorporates PSSA Eligible content. The curriculum reflects and encourages differentiated instructional practices, technology integration and application and active student engagement.
